Installing the XLSafe add-in

To load the "XLSafe PRO add-in" follow the instructions described below for your Microsoft Excel version.

Microsoft Excel 2000-2003

1. Open Microsoft Excel and go to "Tools/Add-ins..."

2. Click on the browse button on the Add-ins manager.

3. Locate the folder "C:\DataSafeXL\XLSafe PRO" and click on the "XLSafe PRO Add-in.xla".

4. Ensure that the box for the XLSafe PRO add-in is ticked and press the OK button.

5. You should now see the XLSafe PRO splash screen and the "XLSafe PRO Admin" menu appearing.   

Microsoft Excel 2007-2010

1. Open Microsoft Excel, click on the Office button and go to 'Excel Options'.

2.  Click on the Add-ins tab and then click on the 'Go' button at the lower part of your screen.

3. The Add-ins manager will appear. Click on the browse button and locate the folder "C:\DataSafeXL\XLSafe PRO" and click on the "XLSafe PRO Add-in.xla".

4. Ensure that the box for the XLSafe PRO add-in is ticked and press the OK button.

5. You should now see the XLSafe PRO splash screen and the "XLSafe Admin" menu appearing on the Add-ins tab.
